Top-seeded Iga Swiatek lost to unseeded Yulia Putintseva of Khazakhstan, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2, on Saturday in her third-round match at Wimbledon, snapping her 21-match winning streak.

Swiatek, the world No. 1 from Poland, arrived at the All England Club as the title favorite after winning her fourth French Open title in June but was never expected to have an easy run. Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam at which she has not advanced past the quarterfinals.
