Wimbledon Predictions: Tennis best bets for Friday, July 12th
Wimbledon predictions and best bets for Day 12 – July 12th:
The short grass-court season is already nearing its end, as we’re already into the Wimbledon semifinals. This has been an exciting tournament thus far, but the best is yet to come. We’re going to have some new Grand Slam champions soon, and these final matches should be exhilarating. That said, let’s look at Day 12 of the action at the All England Club, which will take place on Friday, July 12th. The day will feature the two men’s semifinals, with Daniil Medvedev taking on Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti facing Novak Djokovic.
I also post more tennis predictions on the Pro Picks page. I occasionally add some picks throughout the day, as I like to see how odds are moving. So, keep checking that page every couple of hours if you want more of my picks. I’ll also post plays for smaller tournaments on that page.

Daniil Medvedev vs. Carlos Alcaraz

Alcaraz has won two matches in a row against Medvedev, and he also beat him in straight sets in this very tournament last year. However, Medvedev did beat Alcaraz in four sets at the 2023 US Open, and the Russian is one of the best strategists in the sport. So, you can’t rule out the possibility of Medvedev making some slight adjustments to get the best of Alcaraz after two losses in a row. In fact, Medvedev earned an impressive five-set win over Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals, despite having lost five straight matches to the Italian. That said, this meeting between Medvedev and Alcaraz might not be very straightforward.

Lorenzo Musetti vs. Novak Djokovic
Click here for the full match analysis for Musetti vs. Djokovic!
Musetti is coming off a five-set win over Taylor Fritz and is into the semifinals at a major for the first time in his career. Now, Musetti has to try and quickly recover for a meeting with Djokovic, who beat him in five grueling sets at the French Open. Djokovic will also have rest on his side, as Alex de Minaur wasn’t able to compete in their quarter-final match. That makes this an uphill climb for Musetti. But the Italian has won at least two sets in both of the matches these two have played against one another at majors. That makes it hard to imagine Djokovic rolling his opponent.
