Why Article Is the Furniture Brand Our Editors Can’t Get Enough Of
Sven Sectional Sofa in Stone Gray: I’ve had my couch for four years and it’s the single piece that immediately had me obsessed with this brand. It’s withstood the test of time and has minimal wear. I love that it wipes clean if you spill something on it and I’ve had countless people rave about how comfortable it is. I recently made the move from New York to Georgia, and the only concern my friends had was if the couch would make the trip. It traveled with no wear and it was easy to reassemble (even after four years). Article tests their fabrics for abrasion resistance with up to 50,000 rubs (yes, it’s true) and I can confirm that these tests are legit. After multiple sits, naps, and guests sleeping on this couch, it still looks brand new. If there’s one thing to invest in from this review, it’s one of their couches. ($1999)
Makali Lily White Lounge Chair: I recently got two of these chairs for my balcony in Atlanta and was skeptical because the woven design seems like it would be scratchy and uncomfortable. I was wrong, as Article’s cushiony comfort came through once again. The design is unique; something about them feels calming. Assembly was as easy as plopping them onto my balcony. The downside? They feel a touch overpriced, but the quality matches the $449 price tag and I know I’ll have them forever. ($449)
Centura White Side Table: I was intrigued by this side table for its teardrop shape. It’s spacious, wipes clean, and most importantly, perfectly nestles into awkward balcony corners. While this is a part of the brand’s new outdoor line, I think it’d also work in a living room because of how heavy and substantial it is. ($199)
Redondo Light Gray Indoor/Outdoor Pouf: My boyfriend was pleasantly surprised with the functionality of this pouf. It’s super soft and cushioned, making it ideal for propping your feet up. I want to buy a tray to place on top of it for moments when I want to store something on it. The fabric is woven and textured, which is great for hiding dirt stains and providing extra durability.
