Watch the long-awaited WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain documentary
During WrestleMania 40, WWE announced they’d be releasing a behind-the-scenes documentary about the event’s much-discussed main events just three days after the show ended.
It sounded like a crazy turnaround time, even for one of the best production departments in the world. And that was without even getting into how the angles involving Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson changed in the months leading up April 6-7 in Philadelphia… and continue to develop to this day.
Turns out, it was a crazy turnaround time. The original release day came and went. Some rumors popped up about why, then got shot down. Finally, last Monday WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced it would be out today (July 3) at 7 p.m. Eastern.
So, if nothing else changes, you’ll be able to watch it above at any point after that time.
Then we can all find out together what WWE’s decided to tell us about how Cody went from winning the Royal Rumble, to handing his ‘Mania main event title shot to a babyface Rock before grabbing it back from a heel Rock days later, all the way to The Bloodline duo beating Rhodes & Rollins on Night 1 en route to Dusty’s son finally finished the story by winning the WWE title from Reigns on Night 2, followed by Roman exiting the scene for a while as The Final Boss set-up a showdown with The American Nightmare.
