Wake Forest police ask for a hand in finding Planet Fitness chair thieves

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Wake Forest police are asking for the public’s help in finding two people who allegedly handpicked some interesting chairs from a local business.

The two are wanted for questioning in the June 2 theft of two large yellow and purple ‘hand chairs’ from Planet Fitness valued at over $400.

“We understand that the suspects are not easily identifiable in the surveillance images,” said a police spokesperson. “But someone coming home with giant purple and yellow hand-shaped chairs should be memorable.”

Those involved were seen grabbing the chairs and leaving in surveillance footage.
