Video: Joe Burrow Rocks Backless Suit, Walks with Justin Jefferson at Vogue World

Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson showed off their respective fashion tastes at Paris Fashion Week.

The current NFL stars and former LSU teammates both participated in the event for Vogue, with Burrow sporting a backless black suit and Jefferson rocking a more traditional black suit.

Burrow acknowledged his lack of experience with the fashion world and said he was interested in learning more.

“I’ve always loved clothes but never really understood the industry, so I wanted to learn more,” Burrow said, per Leah Faye Cooper of Vogue.

Jefferson stated a preference for the Amiri style, saying it suited his personality.

“I wear Amiri a lot,” Jefferson said, per Cooper. “It’s my style—relaxed and chill.”

It was the first time either player had participated in a fashion show, and Burrow said that he believes the future intersection of athletes and fashion shows is likely.

“I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a person, [and] I think walking in the show is a great way to do that,” Burrow said, per Cooper. “I think the crossover between fashion and sport is going to continue to grow.”

The two players have quite a case to represent the NFL on the stage. Jefferson is one of the best wide receivers in the league, already having been named to three Pro Bowls and designated as an All-Pro within the length of his rookie contract. He has 5,899 career receiving yards and 30 touchdowns.

Burrow has a similar case at the quarterback position, being named to the Pro Bowl in 2022 and leading the Cincinnati Bengals to Super Bowl LVI in He has accumulated 14,083 yards and 97 touchdowns during his four-year career.

Both have also secured significant contracts, with Burrow signing a five-year, $275 million ahead of the 2023 season and Jefferson signing a four-year, $140 million deal this offseason.

While more fashion shows may be in both players’ future, they are likely turning their attention toward the 2024 NFL season as training camp is less than a month away.
