Venus and Serena Williams Model Trending Maroon and Blush Tones Alongside Mother and Half Sister at Gucci Menswear Spring 2025 Show in Milan

Venus and Serena Williams made a family affair out of Gucci‘s spring 2025 menswear show on Monday in Milan. The professional tennis players sat front row alongside their half sister Lyndrea Price and their mother Oracene Price.

For the occasion, Venus sported an all-white monogrammed ensemble consisting of a pencil midi skirt and a button-up top. The athlete added on a leather trenchcoat in the Italian label’s trademark Ancora red hue.

Venus completed her look with slingback pumps and a black handbag. Her medium-length dark tresses were straightened, while her makeup included a pop of colorful eyeshadow and a glossy nude lip.

Serena, meanwhile, selected a blush double-breasted Gucci suit, layering it over a sheer button-up featuring the brand’s crystallized monogram print. She accessorized with ’70s-inspired oversize shades and an Ancora red purse. Serena’s honey blond hair was styled in waves.

Rouge hues dominated the runway during the fall 2023 season, with labels such as Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Emilia Wickstead ushering in a red renaissance. Earlier this year, the trend emerged at award shows including the Emmys and the SAG Awards, with actresses like Ayo Edebiri, Selena Gomez and Katherine Heigl favoring shades of scarlet.

After Barbie pink took the last two years by storm, paler shades are poised for popularity this season. Designers including Simone Rocha, Cecilie Bahnsen and Tory Burch sent powder pink garments down the runway during their spring 2024 presentations, with the celebrity set swiftly following suit: Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer experimented with rosy pastel hues at a Laneige pop-up event and The Hollywood Reporter’s Power Stylists dinner, respectively.
