Performance of the Night: Khaos Williams
Khaos Williams def. Carlston Harris via knockout (punch) – Round 1, 1:30
Khaos Williams (15-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) made a statement in the welterweight division with a 90-second knockout of Carlston Harris (19-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) in the co-main event. Williams has finishes in four of his six UFC wins – and post-fight bonuses in all four of them.
Performance of the Night: Angela Hill
Angela Hill def. Luana Pinheiro via submission (guillotine choke) – Round 2, 4:12
Angela Hill (17-13 MMA, 12-13 UFC) tapped out Luana Pinheiro (11-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) with a second-round guillotine choke for the first submission win of a career that spans more than 10 years. The bonus was her fifth in the UFC – but is the first one that comes in a winning effort. Her previous four bonuses all came in Fight of the Night losses.
Fight of the Night: Lerone Murphy def. Edson Barboza
Lerone Murphy def. Edson Barboza via unanimous decision (49-46, 50-45, 50-45)
Lerone Murphy (14-0-1 MMA, 6-0-1 UFC) may have delivered a changing of the guard moment against Edson Barboza (24-12 MMA, 18-12 UFC) at featherweight in the main event. Murphy landed an astounding 259 total strikes against one of the UFC’s all-time striking greats over 25 minutes for a dominant unanimous decision.
