UCHealth opens medical center in Greeley’s Elk Lakes Shopping Center

UCHealth recently opened a new medical center in Greeley offering primary care, urgent care and behavioral health services.

The Elk Lakes Medical Center is located at 2819 35th Ave in the Elk Lakes Shopping Center, which is south of U.S. 34 and on the west side of 35th Ave. Home Depot is also in the shopping center.

The primary care clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.  The urgent care clinic hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.

The primary care providers at the medical center include: Dr. Anna Wilkins, physician assistant Kathryn Lonsberry and nurse practitioner Mary Beth Bender.

The clinic provides comprehensive and preventative care for patients of all ages. This includes routine physicals, sports physicals and health maintenance.

To schedule an in-office or video appointment, call (970) 652-2801 or log in to UCHealth’s My Health Connection portal and click on the appointments tab. Same-day appointments might be available.

The urgent care clinic medical team includes Dr. Amy Shenkenberg, physician assistant Sherrie McCoy and physician assistant Gary Montgomery.

The urgent care clinic is a solution for those with animal bites, colds, cuts, scrapes, fractures, headaches, stomach aches, minor infections and wounds, sore throats, sprains and strains, according to a news release from UCHealth.

No appointment is necessary at the urgent care clinic. Patients may walk in or reserve a spot online. For more information, call (970) 392-6875.

Clinical therapist John Fay will provide behavioral health services at the medical center. To schedule an appointment, patients should seek a referral from their UCHealth primary care provider.
