In an unprecedented surge of activity, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has experienced its three highest passenger screening days since its inception in 2001—all within the past month. The agency recently disclosed that on May 24, a staggering 2.95 million travelers were screened, setting a new daily record.
