U.S. Treasury yields rise as Fed holds rates steady, signals only one cut this year

U.S. Treasury yields rose on Thursday after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged and indicated that just one cut is expected before the end of the year.

The rate on the 10-year Treasury rose more than 2 basis points to 4.316%. The benchmark note briefly dipped as low as 4.25% at one point in the previous session, notching its lowest level since April 1.
