Travis Kelce dodges questions about Taylor Swift’s exes

Travis Kelce, the NFL star, showed his charm and tact when discussing his relationship with Taylor Swift on the Bussin’ with the Boyspodcast.

When asked about the singer’s song Karma and its rumored reference to her past relationships with actors, Kelce skillfully dodged the question.

The lyric in question was previously “Karma is the guy on the screen / Coming straight home to me” but was changed to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs / Coming straight home to me” during her Eras Tour, seemingly referencing Kelce’s football team.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end dismissed the question of whether Gyllenhaal is the “guy” in the original Karmalyric, instead asking, “What happened?”

Podcast co-host and former NFL linebacker Will Compton questioned, “Wasn’t it ‘guy on the screen?'” Kelce said, “It was.”

After saying that “it’s changed,” co-host and NFL free agent Taylor Lewan interjected. Compton, 34, responded, “I know it’s changed. Like, I know it’s about the boy now, right?”

Considering the mayhem that resulted from Swift’s initial use of the viral switch—which she has since replicated in February and last weekend in London— Compton went on, “I remember when that clip dropped and she said that [and] everybody’s going nuts.”

“The camera pans over Trav, he’s kind of grinning in the backstage,” he said of the viral clip, and Kelce added, “I was like, ‘Oh s***!’ ”

Following the interview’s online release, followers saw Kelce’s answer on X, which was once known as Twitter.

“The way he handled that nonsense was great tbh,” one user posted, according to TMZ.

Then, in response to Compton’s own X post, “Teaching my 2 yr old daughter who Karma is,” Kelce perfectly reacted with laugh emoticon.
