Travel Planners International (TPI) in Maitland, Fla., has added a new position, director of innovation, designed to keep the host and its advisors ahead of the technology curve.

“The director of innovation will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic initiatives of TPI, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and integrating innovative practices into their operations,” the company said in a release.
The host agency has named Elisabeth McGuire to the new role. Previously TPI’s marketing manager, McGuire has been with TPI for nearly 10 years.

Additionally, TPI has named Jennifer Freeman to succeed McGuire as marketing manager. She was previously interim marketing manager.
