In the first half of the year, Travel Leaders Network, the largest network for professional travel agents in North America, added 187 new travel agencies to its membership roster. Comprised of both Associates (franchise members) and Affiliates, the new agencies account for $350 million in preferred supplier sales.

The travel agency industry has seen a boom in recent years. To capitalize on this trend, travel advisors seek to be part of a network that can provide increased leads and drive higher revenue to their businesses.

“Agencies are flocking to Travel Leaders Network for a variety of reasons, but what we hear most often is that our programs and services are second to none,” said Roger E. Block, President, Travel Leaders Network. “Any type of agency, from big to small, broad to boutique, can find resources that help them build their agency and put more money in their pockets.”

All of Travel Leaders Network’s members have access to its numerous award-winning resources, including:

  • The new SNAP booking tool, an easy and intuitive way for non-GDS users to book air, car and hotel for their clients.
  • Cruise Complete, an exclusive tool for cruise sellers.
  • Agent Profiler, the network’s award-winning lead generation tool.
  • A wide variety of educational programming, including Specialist Certifications.
  • Leaders Alliances for top producers in luxury travel and in honeymoon and destination wedding travel, and for experts in technology as well as host agencies.
  • Numerous marketing engagement opportunities, including targeted email campaigns, social media content and high-end publications that are branded with the travel agencies’ information.
  • Access to the network’s premier hotel and resort programs, cruise programs and in-country partners program.

“While our membership as a whole is already quite strong, these new travel agencies are crucial additions to our network,” said Block. “They bring with them strong travel sales expertise, and I’m eager to see how our offerings enhance their profitability. Their fresh ideas and experiences will bolster our organization as well.”
