Tokido spotted already making insane plays with Akuma against online players in Street Fighter 6

Akuma was recently made playable in Street Fighter 6. To nobody’s surprise, Rohot|Tokido has already begun the grind towards becoming the #1 Akuma in the world.

Gameplay footage featuring Tokido’s Akuma has been uploaded to YouTube by The FGC Place. Of course, it’s still early, but Tokido already appears to be making progress with his old main in Street Fighter 6.

Throughout the video, Tokido ends up taking on Kimberly, Ken, and Manon. He even runs into another Akuma player for a mirror match.

It’s important to understand that Akuma isn’t the only thing that Tokido is learning during this online session. With the new patch, every character has been changed drastically.

Still, it’s pretty clear that Tokido already has a basic game plan that’s functioning. Akuma has outstanding reach with his normals, and it’s difficult to compete against his projectiles. As such, opponents area having a difficult time dealing with Akuma’s options from all ranges.
