Thunder Valley Casino seeks to fill over 100 positions in July job fairs

(FOX40.COM) — Thunder Valley Casino and Resort is looking to fill over 100 positions with a series of job fairs throughout July.

The casino, located on 1200 Athens Avenue in Lincoln, is hosting 11 events beginning July 3 to conduct walk-in interviews for full and part-time positions in different departments.

Open positions include housekeepers, housepersons, janitorial porters, emergency medical technicians, security officers, EMTs, VIP driver, cage cashiers, table game dealers, food servers, cooks, food court attendants, bus persons, beverage servers, beverage porters and kitchen workers.

Thunder Valley advises completing an online application before arriving at the following scheduled job fairs:
•Wednesday, July 3 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Culinary
•Saturday, July 6 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.): Open job fair
•Tuesday, July 9 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ): Housekeeping and Internal Maintenance
•Wednesday, July 10 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Food and Beverage
•Friday, July 12 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Security/EMT
•Tuesday, July 16 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Table Games (open to experienced dealers)
•Wednesday, July 24 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Food and beverage
•Friday, July 26 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Security/EMT
•Tuesday, July 30 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Table Games (open to experienced dealers)

If applicants aren’t able to attend a specific job fair date, the casino said candidates can still attend any of the job fairs throughout the month.

All candidates must be at least 18 years, but some positions require applicants to be at least 21 years old. Those who move on in the hiring process must pass a drug test and background check.

Thunder Valley said candidates can park in the casino’s designated employment center parking area in the FF lot.
