There Are 10 Days Of Tax-Free Shopping Coming Up In Ohio

Ohio’s sales tax holiday is back, and this year it’s expanded to give you even more reasons to hit the stores. Running from 12 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, through 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, this year’s holiday offers more days, more eligible items, and higher price limits on non-taxable goods.

In previous years, the sales tax holiday was a short and sweet three-day affair, focusing mainly on back-to-school essentials. Items like clothing priced at $75 or less and school supplies or instructional materials priced at $20 or less were included. This time around, Ohio has upped the ante.

During this extended holiday, you can enjoy a sales tax exemption on all goods priced at $500 or less.
