The Nike x Jacquemus Summer 2024 Collection Redefines Athletic Fashion

Nike and Jacquemus have once again joined forces to present a fusion of sport and style with their latest collection. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant city of Paris and the athletic prowess of Nike’s global athletes, this collaboration is a testament to the seamless blend of fashion and performance.

The Summer 2024 Nike x Jacquemus collection, launching on July 10 on jacquemus.com and at Jacquemus retail stores, will be available on Nike platforms starting July 23. This marks the third collaboration between the sportswear giant and the Parisian fashion house, featuring 10 distinct lifestyle pieces for both women and men. Highlights include reimagined tracksuits, statement bras, long skirts, and T-shirts, all embodying Jacquemus’ signature effortless style.

The footwear selection introduces the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1, a bold reinterpretation of the classic Nike Air Max, enhanced with a rounded, cubist Air unit. The now-iconic Le Swoosh bag returns in three new colors, available for the first time at select Nike retail outlets.

“This collection is born from the inspiration I find every day in Paris and in Nike’s athletes and the sports references I have always loved. I see the collection as a mix of sport, fashion and culture in the most beautiful city in the world, where Nike athletes will take center stage this summer,” says Simon Porte Jacquemus. The collection’s color palette—red, white, blue, and silver—pays homage to Jacquemus’ French roots, embodying a sense of national pride and cultural heritage.

Accompanying the collection is the J’aime Paris campaign and short film, marking Jacquemus’ directorial debut. The film features a star-studded cast, including Serena Williams, Juliette Binoche, Central Cee, and Lila Moss, celebrating the vibrant, artistic spirit of Paris. “When in Paris, the world simply feels different: more romantic, artistic, and beautiful,” Jacquemus reflects. “J’aime Paris is an ode to the city I adore, drawing out all I love about this vibrant place and how those inspirations manifest in my third collection with Nike.”

Nike and Jacquemus first collaborated in 2022, blending elevated silhouettes with athletic wear inspired by vintage ACG and ’90s Nike campaigns. Subsequent collections, like the 2023 J Force 1, further solidified their synergy, offering pieces that effortlessly transition from art museums to urban landscapes. The Spring 2024 collection debuted the Le Swoosh bag, encapsulating the essence of Nike through Jacquemus’ visionary lens.

The Summer 2024 Nike x Jacquemus collection will be available on jacquemus.com and Jacquemus retail stores from July 10. On July 23, the collection will launch on Nike platforms, with the Le Swoosh bag and Air Max 1 debuting on SNKRS and the apparel on nike.com. By July 25, the full collection will be accessible across nike.com and select retailers.
