The bone witch Uzuki trailer released for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes as first DLC character

It’s a massive weekend for anime fans with new reveals all over the place, and that includes fighting games too.

Arc System Works and French Bread just released the official trailer for the first DLC character in Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes], Uzuki, during their panel at Anime Expo 2024.

Uzuki is described as a tricky necromancer by the developers, and she’s going to have a lot of ghosts and ghouls coming to aid her in battle.

She is shown summoning skeletons large and small as well as those of animals to come do battle for her along with her giant coffin and a bunch of ghosts to boot too.

The developers revealed Uzuki will be playable at Evo 2024 in just a few weeks, so fans are going to get the chance to try out the upcoming DLC character early.

We don’t have an exact date yet, but Uzuki is scheduled to launch at some point in August as UNI2’s first DLC character since the game’s January release.

Players will be waiting just as long for the next fighters too with Ogre not set to join the party until February 2025 and then Izumi in August 2025 to round out the Season Pass.

Under Night II is currently 50% off in the Steam Summer Sale as well as 100 other fighting games and their DLC.

On top of UNI2, ArcSys unveiled Chrollo for Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact and the teaser trailer for Guilty Gear Strive’s anime.

Bandai Namco also announced a brand new Bleach fighting game at Anime Expo as well that we took a closer look at.
