The Best Street Style from Australian Fashion Week 2024

In the months between New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, a host of international editions keep us satiated with their local showcases and street style. Some, like Australian Fashion Week (which just wrapped in Sydney), start to build a following of their own, and grow to generate as much buzz as the “big four”.

For the past 28 years, Australian Fashion Week has platformed some of the country’s biggest brands and launched the careers of now-household names. Beyond the runways, Aussies never fail to inspire with their Pinterest-ready style on the streets — and, though there were plenty of different aesthetics on display this time around, showgoers consistently favored one accessory in particular to complement their outfits: a necktie.
