The best early Prime Day travel deals you can shop right now — as low as

Did you hear? Amazon Prime Day is just about a week away (July 16 and 17), and don’t tell anyone, but you can get a head start on shopping for some of the event’s best deals. As a shopping editor, every year I find some of the best travel deals days before the mayhem starts and this year, there are 10, in particular, that are actually worth the investment — I’m talking up to 58% off luggage and a few of my personal favorite travel accessories.

Also, to be completely honest with you, some early Prime Day deals just aren’t that great. So, to make sure you’re actually getting the good stuff, we’ve rounded up the 10 best travel deals that are actually noteworthy. For instance, we love this $9 phone holder that one flight attendant uses when she’s not on the clock, this eight-piece packing cube set that keeps your luggage organized and, speaking of luggage, this two-piece Samsonite hard side luggage set is a whopping $260 off for Prime members.

Keep scrolling to check out the full list and be sure to take a look at the best early Prime Day 2024 deals across a bunch of categories.

Traveling alone can be isolating enough, but it’s even worse with no on-board entertainment (especially when the free entertainment is snooze-worthy). If you’re willing to take matters into your own hands and watch your favorite shows on your phone, snag this $9 phone holder that attaches to any stowed tray table. Best of all, though, it holds your phone in place at eye level, so you won’t strain your neck while you watch.

“As a commuting flight attendant, [this] comes in very handy,” one impressed shopper wrote. “At home, I like it propped up on the counter.”

Today, traveling isn’t as simple as grabbing a bag and heading out the door. Now, you likely have to make sure you pack your laptop, tablet and your phone — and you can’t forget the chargers for each device! This case keeps all of the cables you need neatly organized and even has different layers and compartments to make sure nothing gets tangled.

“This is perfect for all the cords and gadgets for a flight,” one five-star reviewer wrote. “It’s about the size of my hand, and even comes with a wrist band. This is very lightweight, but really nice quality.”

I’ve found that traveling is always smooth sailing for me when all of my documents and credit cards are easily accessible, and the easiest way to do this is by combining everything you need into one. This faux leather passport case also functions as a wallet, so you’re able to store your passport, credit cards, some cash, driver’s license, boarding pass and even your SIM card all in one pouch. It’s also waterproof and has an RFID-blocking shield to keep all of your cards and private information safe from unauthorized scans.

“It’s always a hassle in the airport keeping track of everything, but this helps keep it all in one place. I even had vaccination papers I needed that fit well inside,” one shopper wrote

If your feet sometimes swell when you fly, you’re not alone — it’s caused by cabin pressure, and investing in some good compression socks is an easy fix. They help increase blood circulation, especially if you’re on a lengthy flight and will be sitting for hours on end. These popular compression socks have over 59,000 five-star reviews on Amazon and shoppers say they’re even great for travelers with big calves.

“Best compression socks I have ever bought,” one happy traveler said. “These are great quality and easy to put on but do not ‘strangle’ my calves. The compression is consistent after using and washing for months — they do not lose their elasticity.”

You know what they say — once you use packing cubes, you won’t go back. If you don’t believe us, just take it from the travel pros, themselves. Frequent flyers and travel crew members say packing cubes is their secret to staying organized when they travel. They also just make everything easy to find when you’re essentially living out of a suitcase while on vacation. This No. 1 bestselling eight-piece set includes four packing cubes, an accessories pouch, a shoe bag, a laundry bag and a hanging toiletry case.

“I was told by a fellow flight attendant to get these,” one flight crew member wrote. “I researched them and figured I’d give them a try, [and I’m] very glad I did… I pack a full week’s worth of clothes in one cube. Man, does it save space.”

Planes are notoriously noisy and a bit uncomfortable. No matter how quiet the passengers are, there’s no way to make that engine any less of a distraction. So, if you’re trying to get some Zs, you may need some extra reinforcements. This three-piece set comes with everything you need: a memory foam neck pillow, a contoured eye mask and earplugs. It even comes with a drawstring carrying bag for you to store everything once you land.

“This is a must-have. A lifesaver,” one relieved shopper wrote. “[It] provides quality neck and shoulder support, [is] very comfortable and, as an added surprise, the eye mask and easy cushioned allows for the perfect amount of relaxation.”
