Taylor Swift smoothly handles piano malfunction on stage: ‘We finally broke it’

Nothing ever goes according to plan. The trick to being a great performer is knowing how to handle the unexpected, which is what Taylor Swift had to do when her piano malfunctioned at a recent Eras Tour date in Europe.

“You know what? We finally broke it,” Swift said on stage in Milan on Sunday. “We have finally broken this thing.”

Actress Mel Harris (Thirtysomething) captured the moment on her Instagram Story, writing “technical difficulties, she can’t get the piano to close…LOVE her reaction.”

“Oh! I did it!” Swift exclaimed in footage captured by X user @mirrorswift.

The Eras Tour is finally set to conclude this December with the last shows in Vancouver, Canada. Swift recently reflected on the upcoming finale.
