Target jumps ahead of Amazon Prime Day with its major summer shopping event (NYSE:TGT)
Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) announced on Tuesday that its Target Circle Week will run from July 7-13. The retailer’s biggest summer shopping event will once again feature savings on summer and back-to-school essentials.
Target (TGT) said it will deliver even more deals for members of the Target Circle loyalty program, including deep discounts, personalized Target Circle bonuses to put toward top summer finds, hot prices on everyday items, and early savings on back-to-school and college essentials.
Some of the deals highlighted by Target (TGT) include 50% off select toys (including LEGO, Monster Jam, and LOL Surprise!), up to 40% off kitchen and floorcare (including Keurig, KitchenAid, Ninja, Dyson, Shark, and Bissell), 30% off bedding and bath (including Casaluna and Threshold), and a specific deal for purchases of Ulta Beauty (ULTA) items.
During Target Circle Week, consumers can sign up for a Target Circle 360 subscription for just $49 for the first year, in comparison to the regular price of $99 per year.
Target’s (TGT) Circle Week arrives ahead of Amazon (AMZN) Prime Day, which starts on July 16. Walmart’s (NYSE:WMT) big Walmart+ Week summer shopping event began on June 17 and ended on June 24. The Bentonville-based retail giant also has Walmart Deals Week starting on July 8.
Shares of Target (TGT) are up 5.1% on a year-to-date basis.
