Successful Job Fair to be repeated in July by MichiganWorks!

More than 300 job seekers and two dozen employers came together recently at ta Job Fair sponsored by MichiganWorks!   Many individuals were hired ‘on the spot.’  With that success in mind, MichiganWorks! will seek to duplicate it next month with another Job Fair.

The next hiring event will take place on Thursday, July 11 from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.

Last month’s hiring event brought 24 employers and 342 job seekers together, resulting in many on-the-spot interviews and filled positions. In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services.

Individuals who would like to participate should arrive at the job fair interview ready with an updated resume. Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register their attendance here and view the growing list of employers who plan to attend.
