The BALENCIAGA Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection by Demna pays homage to subculture fashion while drawing inspiration from Cristóbal Balenciaga’s later works. The collection integrates four main elements into the design of the silhouettes — 3/4 length sleeves, distinctive cuts, bold headwear, and innovative fabrics. Everyday items are upgraded with luxurious materials like silk scuba satin for added comfort and structure.

Unique silhouettes in the BALENCIAGA Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection include jackets integrated into trousers, hand-painted T-shirt prints, and a black nylon dress that was created live during an event. The last piece was designed to be worn only once, showcasing the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and ephemeral fashion. The subculture fashion range also incorporated upcycled materials, such as a flannel shirt recreated with silk embroidery and a faux fur coat made from synthetic hair.
