Starbucks joining Park Place shopping center in South Charleston

SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — A new Starbucks is coming to South Charleston this week as the second tenant of the Park Place shopping center.

According to a release from the South Charleston Chamber of Commerce, the Starbucks will be located at 96 MacCorkle Avenue, SW, and will be open to the public on Friday, July 12, though a ribbon cutting will be held for the store on Thursday.

The Park Place shopping center is under a Tax Increment Financing District, meaning that the sales tax generated there will go towards future public projects.
