Southwest Airlines Celebrates Birthday With 50 Percent off Flights, Limited-Time Travel Deals
Southwest Airlines is celebrating the lead-up to its official birthday and Wanna Get Away Day on June 18 with limited-time savings on travel.
Now through Thursday, June 13, travelers can receive up to 50 percent off base fares on select flights when they book with promo code BDAY.
The discounted seats are valid for continental U.S. travel flown between August 6 and December 18, 2024, and international, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico travel between August 20 and December 17, 2024.
The low-cost carrier is also offering exclusive savings on rental cars, hotels and vacation packages this week. Now through June 18, customers who rent a car with Dollar Car Rental at participating airport locations can save up to 25 percent on the base rate and earn 1,200 points on a rental of two or more days.
What’s more, travelers can earn five times the points on their hotels for three or more night stays when they book on the Southwest Hotels website by June 18 for travel through November 30, 2024.
Customers can also save up to $500 on flight and hotel vacation packages now through June 18 and earn $100 in instant savings on domestic, international or Hawaii travel between now and March 5, 2025.

“Our Wanna Get Away Week provides some of our best deals of the year to earn points. Rapid Rewards Members also can get early access to this sale by booking on mobile devices or through the Southwest app to get first access to millions of seats.”
