See Gorgeous Photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Standing Side by Side as ‘God Save the King’ Plays
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared poised and collected as they stood side by side and listened to “God Save the King” (the national anthem for Britain and its territories) while attending a charity event in Nigeria on May 11.
According to Hello! Magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a reception dinner hosted by Nigeria Unconquered, a non-profit organization that works in collaboration with the Invictus Games Foundation. FYI, Prince Harry launched the Invictus Games—an international multi-sport event for wounded and injured veterans—in 2014.
A gorgeous snapshot taken of the royal couple shows Prince Harry and his wife staring straight ahead with their hands at their sides. For the event, the 39-year-old spare wore a white tailored suit with a black tie. Meanwhile, the Suits alum rocked a stylish yet simple white strapless dress with an elegant updo. She accessorized with a special piece from Princess Diana’s collection.

Though the couple (who were guests of honor at the reception) were not representing the royal family in any way, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed a united front as they stood up from their seats and listened to the national anthem.
Days before the charity event, Prince Harry and Markle, 42, visited the Lightway Academy in Abuja, Nigeria. In one photo taken of the couple, which also gives major insight into their marriage, Markle is smiling from ear to ear as she holds hands with her hubby.
