SC State Representative hosts job fair at Burke High School

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A South Carolina State Representative is hosting a job fair at Burke High School on Thursday.

Rep. Wendell Gilliard will host a community job fair to connect job seekers with leading employers and resource agencies.

Officials say the participating companies and agencies include:

• Neal Brothers Logistics and Shipping
• SC Works
• MUSC
• JC & Associates
• Holy City Hospitality Group

“We are thrilled to bring together some of the finest employers and resource agencies in our area,” said Rep. Wendell Gilliard. “This job fair is an excellent opportunity for job seekers to connect with potential employers, gain valuable insights, and take significant steps towards securing meaningful employment.”

Officials say the job fair is a collaborative effort sponsored by Gilliard, the Community Resource Center, and Neal Brothers.

The job fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burke High School located at 244 President Street.
