Saginaw’s AMC movie theater near Fashion Square Mall closes

SAGINAW TWP, MI — Saginaw Township’s AMC movie theater near Fashion Square Mall has closed permanently.

AMC’s Fashion Square 10, located at 4511 Fashion Square Blvd., closed for good at the end of the business day Sunday, June 2, company spokesperson Cassie Nichols confirmed.

“AMC routinely reviews the theatres in our circuit, as well as opportunities outside of our circuit, and makes decisions based on what will best strengthen the company going forward,” Nichols said.

“We thank our Fashion Square 10 guests for their patronage and have appreciated the support from the community throughout the years of operation.”

Quality 10 Powered by Emagine, 3250 Kabobel Drive in Kochville Township, is the nearest movie theater still operating.

AMC’s remaining Michigan locations include Auburn Hills, Clinton Township, Fort Gratiot, Holland, Livonia, Ludington, Madison Heights, Sterling Heights, Traverse City and Walker, according to the company’s website, www.amctheatres.com.
