Blackmagic, the company renowned for making extremely high-end cameras, has now released an Android app called Blackmagic Camera. It offers granular manual controls, audio levels, current status and recording parameters, frame guides, frame rate, histogram, ISO, levels, shutter angle, tint, and white balance.

This app is only available for Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphones, which speaks volumes about the popularity and quality of the cameras on Samsung’s smartphones. You can install the app directly from the Play Store.

The company also claims that its new smartphone app offers the “same cinematic ‘look’ as Hollywood feature films” and offers familiar controls. Users can share recorded videos instantly with colorists anywhere in the world using Blackmagic Cloud.
