People looking to work out in and around Bristol just got another option as Planet Fitness opened the doors on a new club recently.

The grand opening event included a ribbon cutting and celebration with food, games, and raffles.

Planet Fitness also celebrated the event with a donation to Women Against Abuse, an organization that is working to end domestic violence through advocacy, education, and service offerings for survivors.

The new club is located at 232 Commerce Circle in Bristol, in the Bristol Park shopping center.

Planet Fitness is best known for its advertised “Judgement Free Zone” which attracts people who want to work out but find more traditional gyms intimidating.

There are 2,575 Planet Fitness locations throughout the United States, most owned and run by independent operators.
