Photos show Cleveland transform for Superman film
CLEVELAND (WJW) — Superman is in Cleveland!
All over downtown Cleveland Wednesday there was evidence of exactly which feature film is taking over.
FOX 8 crews spotted street signs for Metropolis, the big city home of Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
It’s also home to the Daily Planet, the fictional newspaper that employs the famous pair — also spotted in downtown Cleveland Wednesday.
Road closures begin Thursday, June 20, and last through June 25.
The new Superman movie stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman himself, according to IMDB.
Film crews have also been spotted previously in Public Square, Headlands Beach State Park, Sandusky and Cincinnati.
