Paris Hilton leaves fans stunned with her dramatic voice change
Paris Hilton has left fans shocked after she dramatically changed her voice while speaking at a congressional hearing about the need for reforms in the foster and youth rehab system.
The 43-year-old media mogul is known for her iconic, high-pitched vocals, which have often been called a ‘baby voice’ by fans.
However, while contributing to a congressional panel that focused on improving child welfare protections, the hotel heiress – who most recently spoke out about the devastating child abuse she has suffered at a youth rehabilitation facility – decided to switch up her voice.
In the middle of her discussion, the mom-of-two opted for a deeper tone to tackle the serious topic.
Fans were stunned by the media icon’s change of pitch as they even suggested that she should get into politics.

In a viral video, Paris was asked by United States Representative Claudia Tenney, 63, to explain how mental health and counseling support could be built into child welfare programs.
Their talk began with the A-lister complimenting Rep Tenney’s jacket.
In her trademark ‘girly’ voice, Paris said: ‘Thank you, I enjoyed our Zoom call. I love your jacket. The sparkles are amazing.’
The US representative responded: ‘I had a little bling here for today.’
The mom-of-two replied: ‘I wanted to find out who made it later.’
However, when the conversation shifted to something more serious, so did the blonde beauty’s voice.
‘I think the most important thing is we need access to therapy, counselling, mentorship, and other community-based programs,’ she said in a commanding tone.
The abrupt change sent fans into a frenzy on social media, with many rushing to explain the star’s diverse speaking styles.

‘Paris has admitted that she plays a character and the voice is part of it… nothing wrong with that,’ one person said.
‘She’s worn that persona like a skin-suit for so long, it’s fascinating she can just slip it on and off like that,’ another added.
‘If you’ve ever watched ANYTHING from Paris Hilton – this is normal. She uses the baby voice as a coping mechanism and also to come off as unassuming,’ someone else shared.
They added: ‘The “code-switch” is her actual voice. She learned it from her mom. They talk about it often.’
Hilton’s ‘real’ voice has been a subject of discussion for years.
During an appearance on This Morning in the UK, host Alison Hammond was stunned when Hilton spoke in her deep timbre.
‘This is the authentic Paris? This isn’t the voice I remember!’ she gasped.
‘This is my real voice, that was a character,’ the Stars Are Blind singer responded.
‘I am not a dumb blonde, people I am just good at playing it. After the good life I got stuck in playing that role.’
