INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton was forced to miss Monday’s Game 4 against Boston with an injured left hamstring.

It was the second straight game the All-NBA guard missed in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celtics took full advantage of Haliburton’s absence, once again rallying past the Pacers in the fourth quarter to win 105-102 and earn their 23rd trip to the NBA Finals.

Haliburton, the league’s assists champion, had been the catalyst for the Pacers’ deepest postseason run in a decade.

While the Pacers twice built 18-point leads without Haliburton in Game 3, the Celtics rallied to retake the lead in the game’s final minute and won 114-111 to end the Pacers’ perfect postseason mark at home.

On Monday, the Pacers led by eight with 5:56 remaining before the Celtics stormed back yet again, taking the lead for good on Derrick White’s 3-pointer in the final minute.

Boston was without one-time All-Star center Kristaps Porzingis, who hasn’t played since April 29 because of a strained right hamstring.
