Online Gambling Headquarters And Government Site Hackers In West Jakarta Apartments Have International Network To Cambodia

JAKARTA – The online gambling headquarters in the Grogol Petamburan area, West Jakarta, apparently has an online gambling network to the Cambodian State. This is known from the results of the development of the West Jakarta Metro Police investigation regarding the raids that were previously carried out.

Online gambling syndicates and hackers on government websites and a number of these agencies are part of the international online gambling network in Cambodia.

“The syndicate is included in the Cambodian online gambling network,” said West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Andri Kurniawan when confirmed, Thursday, July 11.

AKBP Andri said that after the syndicate managed to hack government websites and universities, they rented the website out to online gambling networks in Cambodia.

“After they succeeded in making the government website and academics appear on the first page of the search results, then they rented out the website to the Cambodian network online gambling owner,” he said.

Currently, the police are still conducting a series of in-depth investigations. Including confining the number of turnovers that the syndicate gets from its evil deeds.

So far, six FAF (26), AE (39), YGP (20), FH (21), GF (21) and FAP (19) online gambling operators have been arrested.

Meanwhile, one person with the initials MHP (41) suspected of having an account to accommodate online gambling money has also been arrested.

Previously, it was reported that the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim raided an online gambling headquarters in the Grogol Petamburan apartment, West Jakarta, Wednesday, July 10. A total of 7 online gambling operators were arrested.

“We have managed to secure a total of 7 people,” said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes M Syahduddi when confirmed.

The disclosure of the case began with a public report that it was suspected that there was an online gambling practice in an apartment unit at the scene.
