One injured, one in custody after shooting at Huntersville McDonald’s: Police

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An arrest has been made in connection to an afternoon shooting at a McDonald’s in Huntersville, authorities confirmed.

According to Medic officials, the shooting happened around 3:15 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at a McDonald’s restaurant located in the 10000 block of Cane Creek Drive.

A male victim was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, Huntersville Police said.

Officers arrived shortly after the shooting and took a person of interest into custody. Huntersville Police said they are not looking for any other suspects and the area is in no danger at this time.
