Oak Street to temporarily close for infrastructure work
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — A portion of Oak Street will close on Monday, June 10, for approximately six weeks for the next Arts & Innovation District infrastructure work round.
The area between Sixth and Seventh Avenues North will close. Utility and Sewer work will continue at the new pump station.

Officials say the project will conclude before the South Carolina Department of Transportation begins its Highway 501 realignment at Broadway Street.
The timeline, however, is weather dependent, and detour signs will be posted for thru traffic.
