‘No travel advisory’ issued for southeast South Dakota
SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA (KELO) — A ‘no travel advisory’ has been issued for all state highway sections in southeast South Dakota on Friday beginning at 3:00 p.m., according to the SD Department of Transportation (DOT).
The area is experiencing flooding due to heavy rain. The heavy rainfall and existing saturated ground is causing widespread flooding making it difficult to impossible to travel.
Most of the state and local roads are impassable due to standing or flowing water across the roadways.
