Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron Have a Sexcapade in A Family Affair

Ah, yes, the classic my mom is sleeping with my famous boss who I hate story. A standard of the rom-com genre, second only to the my mom is sleeping with a member of my favorite boy band story. In Netflix’s A Family Affair, the latest entry to the former trope, Nicole Kidman is the mom, Zac Efron is the famous man, and Joey King is her daughter. In the trailer, we witness Kidman and Efron have a secret “sexcapade,” only for King to walk in on them doing the do. The shock reveal leads her to ram into a wall headfirst and pass out. “Name a movie I won a Teen Choice Award for,” Efron’s character, a self-absorbed himbo, asks as she comes to. He’s the type to quote cheesy lines from movies his movie during sex (e.g., “I’ve been waiting for you for forever”). Naturally, the actor’s assistant doesn’t want her mom messing around with him. “I love being your mother more than anything in this world,” Kidman says. “But I’m starting to feel things that I never thought I would feel again, not since your father.” Looks like BuzzFeed’s Hunkiest Brunette secured that invite to Christmas. Wait … this is also a Christmas movie? It’s out June 28, just in time for July holidays.
