Nicolas Cage’s “concerned” ex Christina Fulton has spoken out about her son Weston’s arrest for assault with a deadly weapon after her allegedly attacked her during a mental health crisis.

The “Doors” actress 57, confirmed that her son’s arrest was the result of a “manic rage.”

“On April 28th, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., I received urgent messages from friends of my son, Weston Cage, regarding his deteriorating mental state, urging me to come help,” Fulton’s statement, obtained by People, began.

“When I arrived to offer support and console him, he was already in the midst of a manic rage. Within minutes, I was brutally assaulted and sustained serious injuries.”

A rep for the Los Angeles Police Department didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

LAPD arrested Weston, 33, on Wednesday over an incident that took place in April; however, no reason was given as to why he was booked months later.

Records show Weston was released on $150,000 bond.

Authorities also confirmed to the outlet that the mixed martial artist “punched two victims multiple times, causing injury.”

 The district attorney filed two counts of assault with a deadly weapon against Weston on June 26, with an arrest warrant issued at a later date.

“As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s ongoing mental-health crisis,” Fulton concluded her statement. “It is imperative that he receives the help he desperately needs.”

Fulton’s attorney previously told Page Six that she has been working with authorities to navigate her son’s criminal charges.

“My client has fully cooperated with the investigation and supports any decision made by law enforcement after they independently examined the evidence and the facts,” the lawyer stated. “This is a criminal matter and my client is simply a victim and witness.”

Weston and the “National Treasure” actor, who dated from 1988 to 1991, share only son Weston.

Nicolas, 60, has two other children: son Kal-El Cage, 18, with ex-wife Alice Kim, and daughter August, 1, with wife Riko Shibata.
