New Netflix docuseries follows Michigan family’s battle with alleged 7M TikTok cult

A new Netflix docuseries puts the story of a Michigan family battling with an alleged cult front and center.

“Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult” debuted last week on the streaming platform, with three in-depth episodes documenting the Wilking family’s struggle with their daughter’s entanglement with an an alleged cult led by Robert Shinn.

The series follows the Wilking family, from the Warren area, through an investigation into trying to find out what happened to their daughter, Miranda.

Miranda and her sister Melanie had millions of followers on TikTok through their viral dancing videos before Miranda became estranged from the family after joining a religious group in Los Angeles.

The docuseries also highlights other dancers who were part of the 7M group before leaving, including Kylie Douglas, who is a Novi native.
