New Jobs Inbound as Rockville Receives First McDonald’s

ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Parke County will be receiving its first McDonald’s location bringing in approximately 50 new jobs in and around the community. McDonald’s Owner/operators Nick and Jami Kasprzyk and their team hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on June 4 at 507 N Lincoln Road to start the process that is slated to be complete in the Fall of 2024.

Rockville’s location will be the 10 location locally owned/operated by the Kasprzyks who already have locations in the cities of Terre Haute, Clinton, Marshall, Casey, and Paris. They believe that the most rewarding part of operating these restaurants is the opportunities they’re able to create for their crew members.

“McDonald’s is so much more than burgers and fries—it’s about people,” said Nick Kasprzyk.  “We offer flexible schedules that work around our employees’ personal lives, we provide college tuition assistance as well as training and pathways to advancement for those interested in a long-term career at McDonald’s.”

The Kasprzyks also offer additional benefits such as free meals during shifts, paid time off, and a 30% employee discount through the app. Interested parties can apply now either by texting IN131 to 38000 or by applying in person at the Clinton, IN location.

A news release states that the restaurants are also a great way for the community to generate funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana through programs like Round-Up for RMHC, change collection donations, happy meal proceeds, and other fundraisers.  The Kasprzyks are thankful to the generosity of the communities that help support this much-needed charity each day in their restaurants.
