Megan Thee Stallion Finds Strength in Versatility on New Album ‘MEGAN’
Megan Thee Stallion is back with her first full-length effort in two years, MEGAN.
Clocking in at approximately 55 minutes, the 18-track effort features guest appearances from Kyle Richh on “B.A.S.,” Japanese hip-hop artist Yuki Chiba on “Mamushi,” GloRilla on “Accent,” Victoria Monét on “Spin” and Bun B and the late Pimp C, better known as the duo UGK, on “Paper Together.” The Houston Hottie shows off her versatility on the record, flexing with double-timed raps and slower, more melodic verses. She also remains on top of her pen game with slick rhymes and more confident lyricism — greatly adding to the overall theme and sound of the record. MEGAN almost serves as a comeback from a rapper who has been open about her struggles over the past three years, but just like a snake, she’s shed her old skin, ready to hunt for her prey once again.
