Meet the woman behind new fitness brand, So Good Active
HONOLULU (KHON) — Fitness enthusiasts will gather on Saturday, June 29, at the Alohilani Resort in Waikiki to celebrate the launch of Moani Hara’s new fitness brand, “So Good Active.”
The event, which quickly sold out, highlighted Hara’s journey towards self-acceptance and empowerment through fitness.
“The name ‘So Good’ comes from my personal struggles with self-image. It reflects the transformative power of fitness in my life—moving so good, sweating so good, feeling so good—it’s about self-love and strength.”
Hara, the founder of “So Good Active,” was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2014 and is a frequent collaborator on KHON’s sports program, Cover 2.
“So Good Active” aims to redefine fitness essentials with a range of meticulously crafted products designed to enhance workouts and empower individuals in their fitness journeys.
From stylish yoga mats to vegan leather ankle weights, each item is crafted to blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, making them ideal for gyms, studios, or home workouts.
“We’re excited about the collaboration with Alohilani Resort, where participants will receive exclusive ‘So Good’ yoga mat towels and band sets,” Hara added.
Attendees at the launch event will enjoy a variety of wellness experiences, including performance recovery stations by Holt Fit, vitamin shots from Drip Hawaii, and a rejuvenating cold plunge facilitated by Cameron Smith.
Red light therapy sessions offer additional benefits, enhancing the holistic approach to wellness promoted by “So Good Active.”
DJ Jem will spin energizing beats and a “Move So Good” workout session led by Hara herself.
“For those who miss out on Saturday’s event, you can still join our free weekly workouts on our website,” said Hara.
