Meet Leonardo DiCaprio’s teen niece Normandie Farrar, who he loves to spoil
Leonardo DiCaprio has always been a very private man, and his 17-year-old niece Normandie Farrar seems to be, too.
DiCaprio, who has no children of his own at age 49, reportedly took his teenage niece shopping at Tiffany & Co. and Prada, to name a few.
Leo’s dad George DiCaprio and stepmother Peggy Farrar were also reportedly at the outing. They later spent some family time together at South Beverly Grill.
Here’s what we know about Leonardo DiCaprio’s low-key niece.
Who are Normandie Farrar’s parents?
Normandie Farrar is reportedly the daughter of Charity Moore and Adam Farrar. Although Leo doesn’t have any siblings, the Oscar-winning actor is related to Adam as his stepbrother via Leo’s stepmother, Peggy Ann Farrar.
She was once allegedly “abducted” by a family member
Normandie’s parents have reportedly had some trouble with the law over the years. Per Hollywood Life, Normandie was once allegedly “abducted” by a member of the family in 2014, before Adam was arrested in Texas on drug-related charges. Her mother had also been arrested for the same charges a few days before.
The Telegraph seemingly confirmed this, writing that Adam had been accused of hiding his then-six-year old daughter from the authorities, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
She was later found safe and sound, and put into the care of her grandfather George in Los Angeles, per British media.
She now enjoys the high life with her famous uncle
Leo seems to get along swell with his niece. Last summer, he was photographed on a yacht with Normandie, and his father and stepmother, while on holiday on the Italian coast.
