Lenny Kravitz Gets Rizzed Up by Gayle King in Viral Interview: ‘Did I Say That Out Loud?’

Gayle King just said what many Lenny Kravitz admirers probably have in mind! During a new interview for CBS Mornings with Kravitz, King snuck in a silly, flirty question to the musician about his love life.

“Asking for a friend, is there love in your life right now? Do you have a significant other in your life?” she started before asking with a laugh: “And can I beat her ass if she is?”

Kravitz laughed at the question, only responding, “Wow!”

King then added, “Oops, did I say that out loud? And I’m non-violent Lenny Kravitz!”

Kravitz then answered King’s question, telling her that he’s “just open” and that it’s “hard not to look” for a significant other. “When you desire something, you’re looking for it. I find that when you don’t look, you find it,” he said. “I’m at a place where — I’ve said this for several years — I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready. I wasn’t ready, right?”

“I can say that I’ve never felt how I feel now,” Kravitz added.

The new interview for CBS comes as he releases his 12th album Blue Electric Light, out today. The LP features tracks such as “TK421,” “Paralyzed,” “Let It Ride,” and “Human.”

Blue Electric Light marks Kravitz’s first full-length release since Raise Vibrations in 2018. The musician described the vibe of the album as “Celebration. Life. Humanity. Love. Sexuality. Sensuality. Spirituality.” He added that the title of the record came to him late in the recording process. Kravitz played most of the instruments on the project alongside guitarist Craig Ross.

Later this year, he’ll play the LP during a Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
