Galaxy Z Fold 6 image shows a wider cover screen than Galaxy Z Fold 5
Earlier today, the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s rear camera was leaked. Now, reliable tipster Ice Universe has shared the first full image of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It shows the front of the device and compares it to the Galaxy Z Fold 5. It is apparent that the upcoming foldable phone will have a wider cover screen, which is equal to the width of the Galaxy Z Fold 5’s cover screen on one side of its bezels.
This should improve the typing experience on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It will also solve aspect ratio issues found in some apps and games. In the image above, you can see the Galaxy Z Fold 5 on the left and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on the right. The upcoming foldable appears to have much sharper corners for the body and the cover screen.

Leaked Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to feature a foldable screen with a less visible crease, which users have been demanding as well. It is expected to use the same cameras as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, so there might not be a noticeable improvement in camera quality.
Samsung appears to have equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It could also have a slightly bigger battery, an IPX8 rating for water resistance, and 25W fast charging. Samsung’s upcoming flagship foldable will likely debut with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 software.
It could also have a titanium frame and Gorilla Glass Armor screen protection, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It could also come with a promise of seven years of Android OS and security updates. The phone will be announced on July 10, 2024, during Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris.
