Kris Jenner reveals friend Nicole Brown Simpson’s final words to her before she died
Kris Jenner has revealed her final conversation with Nicole Brown Simpson before her death at age 35.
The matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, 68, has opened up about her last words with the late ex-wife of OJ Simpson in a Lifetime documentary, titled “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” which aired on June 2.
The reality TV star revealed that she and Nicole were in the thick of helping longtime pal Faye Resnick navigate through her substance abuse problem.
In the teaser, Resnick — who has remained close friends with Jenner all these years — revealed that she had relapsed two days before Nicole’s death.
“She loved me,” Resnick said of Nicole, revealing that she had checked her into a rehabilitation facility. “She wanted me to be healthy.”
As Jenner, 68, recalls, she and Nicole were visiting Resnick in rehab.
“Nicole said, ‘Okay, we are going to go visit Faye and make sure that somebody’s there for her every day,’” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum shared.
“So she made a schedule for us,” the mom of six recalled. “I remember it was Nicole’s day and Nicole and I spoke and she goes: ‘No, Faye’s having a good day. I’m leaving. Your day is tomorrow.’”
“That was the last day I spoke to her,” the “Momager” added.
Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered June 12, 1994. At the time of their deaths, she was 35 and Goldman was just 25.
Brown had called the police several times about OJ Simpson, her husband from 1985 to 1992.
“You never get over losing a friend that way,” Jenner said in the documentary. “And I think I pack it down so far deep inside, you know? It’s been 30 years.”
“One of the worst days I’ve ever experienced,” she added.
It’s not the first time Jenner has opened up about her close friend’s death.
The “Kardashians” star’s ex-husband, Robert Kardashian Sr., served as one of six defense attorneys representing the late NFL star during the highly-publicized 1995 trial.
The pair’s four children; Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Robert Kardashian Jr., were also close to the Simpsons, referring to the former athlete as “Uncle OJ” and to Jenner’s friend as “Auntie Nicole.”
