King & Queen of the Ring tournament finals set

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured the final two semifinals matches in the King & Queen of the Ring tournaments, giving us the man and woman who will advance to the event of the same name at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to face off against GUNTHER and Lyra Valkyria, respectively.

First, Nia Jax took care of business against current Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair, taking advantage of Belair still nursing a knee issue from last week. Jax promised to take down the rising Valkyria en route to a title showdown with Bayley.

Later on, Randy Orton got one step closer to doing something he never has in his illustrious 20 year career, as he managed to overcome The Bloodline’s numbers game to defeat Tama Tonga. Earlier in the evening, The Viper had himself a little staredown teaser with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

The SummerSlam main event, perhaps?
